Come & Help Us Grow Our Family

Become a Guardian

What does that mean? Let me explain below.

What It Takes To Be A Guardian

What Are Guardian Homes?

In order to ensure that our dogs have the best lives, a Guardian Program suits us best. This way, the dog has the best of both worlds. The dog gets a forever family and still be able to help Stonegate Labradoodles improve the breed. The best love comes from a dog, so why not help other families like yours to have a properly bred dog?

I do not believe in outdoor kennels or the kind of breeding operation where you breed them then get rid of them when they aren't of use anymore. With the Guardian Program, I can ensure that they already have the perfect family from the start and have all of the attention and love they could need. The Stonegate Labradoodles deserves the best!

And when they are retired, they aren't going anywhere else! They get to stay with their family. That to me is the best way to treat our breeding dogs. They are not products, but living, breathing living beings who deserves everything to make it happy, safe and healthy.

Local families will be able to have the "pick of the litter" for a fraction of the cost that came from a line that is completely health tested. And there will be an agreement with the local families that Stonegate Labradoodles will hold breeding rights for a certain amount of time. When the dog is retired from their breeding career, they are released and the ownership is transferred to the Guardian Family. The dog gets to stay with their families forever and be loved as the amazing dog they are.

This way, a Guardian Home will be able to have a puppy with the best temperament, structure, and health while helping Stonegate Labradoodles better the breed. The local families will have the knowledge that their amazing dog has sent its own bundles of love to other families to enrich their lives.

To Sum It Up:

*The local families get to have the "Pick of the Litter" for $1000 which is refunded once it starts its breeding career and successfully produces a litter.

*We pay for all of the vaccinations and flea/tick as well as heartworm medication.

*The dogs will need to return to Stonegate Labradoodles every year for health testing to make sure they are still breeding material.

*Once bred, she will have to come back the week before the puppies are whelped. Then she stays for an additional eight weeks before being returned to the Guardian Family.

*We retire our females at 5 and our males at 8. We will pay for their spaying or neutering and they will become a permanent part of their Guardian Family forever.

*If the dog ends up infertile or did not pass its health testing, no further compensation will be made since the dog was already deeply discounted. We will have the dog fixed and then the ownership will be transferred to the Guardian Family right away.
